- How can I calculate the cost of a car and understand the delivery expenses?
We provide a preliminary cost estimate for the vehicle so you can have a clear idea of the total amount. The estimated cost includes: auction price, delivery, customs clearance, repairs, spare parts, registration, and our services.
A common issue in the market is that companies often underestimate repair costs, which results in higher final expenses than initially expected due to incorrect calculations.
To ensure an accurate budget estimate, our team includes a technical department that determines the cost of work and spare parts while overseeing the repair process at the service station (STO). We provide you with detailed calculations that include damaged parts, real spare part prices, and labor costs at our STO. All calculations are sent to you for review and approval.
Considering all expenses, savings can range from 10-30% compared to the market price of a similar car on AutoRia, and in the premium segment, savings can reach up to 50%.
We factor in aspects such as the car's location, customs clearance costs, spare parts expenses, and repair work. This allows us to calculate the exact cost and compare it with offers in the Ukrainian market, helping you choose the best option.
Submit a request for selection and estimation, and we will help you determine the best price.
- How to submit a request for car selection based on my criteria?
To submit a request, you can call the hotline at 0 800 209 413 (free within Ukraine) or fill out a request form on our website. Our specialist will contact you to clarify the car's parameters.
We select cars according to your budget and preferences. If you are still unsure about which car to choose or want details about delivery from the USA and Canada, our specialists will provide consultations.
You can subscribe to updates on your preferred cars via our chatbot and receive real-time offers with complete information and pricing in Ukraine.
- How does the car selection and inspection process work?
After discussing all your criteria and budget, our specialist starts searching for auction listings. We select suitable options on Copart, IAAI, and Manheim and carefully inspect the vehicle’s condition.
Important! We do not offer flood-damaged vehicles or cars with damaged engines or transmissions.
Before bidding, we verify the car’s history in the DMV database, including the number of owners, mileage, accident history, and seller reliability. If a lot raises concerns, we continue searching.
- How do you avoid buying flood-damaged cars?
Flood-damaged cars are a major concern for many clients, and rightly so. However, such vehicles are marked in the DMV database as "water/flood." Even minor flooding results in this designation.
Visual inspection can also help identify flood damage. Since we verify vehicle history, you can be assured of your purchase.
- At what stage should I sign the contract? Who is it signed with?
After selecting the car and verifying its condition, we sign a cooperation agreement. You will receive the contract for review before signing.
The contract is signed with "Operator" the official representative of Operator-Ex Inc. in Ukraine, which represents your interests at the auctions.
- Is a prepayment required?
We do not require full prepayment. You make a deposit ($500 or 10% of the bid for cars over $20,000) after signing the contract.
The deposit covers expenses if the car is won but not paid for.
The first payment is made after winning the auction.
- Why is a deposit required?
A deposit is a requirement for participating in the auction.
After the car is won at the auction, the deposit is included in the payment for transporting the car (1st stage of payment).
If the car is not won or you decide to withdraw from further participation, the deposit is fully refunded.
- What payments are required after winning the lot?
After winning, we issue an invoice for the car’s payment, including auction fees—this is the first payment.
Payment must be made within three days after the auction.
- What happens after paying for the car?
After payment, your car remains at the auction site. Next, the second payment covers transportation costs and 50% of our services. The car is then shipped to a European port, with delivery taking approximately 30 days.
- What happens when the car arrives at a European port?
The car arrives at ports in Germany or Lithuania, where it is parked. At this stage, the third payment is required, covering parking fees, delivery to Ukraine, and the remaining 50% of our services.
- How do you protect cars from damage during transportation?
We insure all cars against damage during transportation. Our trusted carriers ensure the safety of all vehicle parts, including small components.
- When should customs clearance be paid?
Customs clearance is paid before the car arrives in Ukraine—this is your fourth payment. The process takes 1-2 business days.
- How to register the car after repairs?
Registration is possible after the vehicle’s certification. You can handle it yourself or use our centers. To register at the Service Center, the owner's personal presence and necessary documents are required.
- What should I do if the car arrives with unexpected damages?
To avoid such situations, we thoroughly inspect cars during selection. If concerns arise, you can request an expert evaluation at the auction.
- How is the repair cost guaranteed?
We calculate repair costs considering body and interior damages. You can verify our estimates at any STO. Additionally, we offer the best prices on parts through our distributors.
- How does the bidding for the desired car proceed?
In order for you and I to start bidding for the desired lot, we need to conclude a contract and make a minimum deposit to participate in the auction. After that, on the right date and time, our buyer takes part in the auction along with other business participants of the auction. When the car is won, it goes to the auction site, where it awaits payment and further transportation.
You and I participate in the bidding for the selected car based on the previously agreed amount (purchase budget). If the bid for the desired lot is higher than this amount, we pass this car on to the next one that meets your criteria and budget. Fortunately, there are dozens of car options at auctions that satisfy any, even the most delicate request. But also, if we were unable to win the desired car for you, you will request a refund of the deposit and we will return it to you in full.
